Remake & Warranty Policy

The cost for fabricating custom made dental appliances cannot be refunded.  A credit may be issued by Impressive directly to a dentist's account when cases do not meet Impressive exceptional standards for quality, function and aesthetics.

1.      Impressive will not charge to add inter-proximal contacts.

2.        Impressive will not charge to stain case one shade darker.

3.        Impressive will not charge to re-glaze the case.

Remake Policy

All remakes will be at no charge if received within 30 days of the invoice date except under the following circumstances:

1.      Impressive inquired about the die, margin or impression.  However, the dentist approved and requested completion of the case.

2.      Doctor miss-trimmed the die.

3.      Impressive inquired about the die, margin or impression. Doctor suggested a try-in. If try-in was unsuccessful Impressive will charge for a manufactured framework. 

4.        The teeth are re-prepared. 

5.        There is a shade or product change different from the original request. 

6.        Patient’s pictures submitted to us by a dental office will assist us in production of a restoration, but are not 100% reliable, and results are not guaranteed. The lab will not be responsible for the outcome of the case, just because patient’s picture was sent to the lab.

7.        The case was canceled after fabrication was started. Fabrication starts the day Impressive receives the case. The case will remain billed at full cost.

8.        Case was manufactured to the original bite registration that was provided by the dentist. Bite registration was wrong and as a result case has to be re-done.

9.        Case was manufactured to the original bite registration that was provided by the dentist. Bite registration was wrong and dentist requested to add porcelain. It is possible to comply with such request; however overbuilding porcelain on poorly supported substructure will cancel any warranty on such product.

10.    Special patient’s requests that were not part of the original instructions.

For eligible remakes within 30 days but without the original case, Impressive shall remake these cases at 100% of the retail price of the restoration at the time the request is made.  If the original model and dental restoration are returned within 60 days from the original invoice date, Impressive will issue a 100% credit to the dentists account.

Any credit balance on an Impressive account must be used for lab services within 60 days from the date of issue or it expires.

Warranty of Work

Impressive guarantees its work for one year against defects in materials and craftsmanship.  The following appliances and services, however, are either covered by no warranty or a limited time warranty, because of their temporary or delicate nature:

·        IPS Empress Products

·         Rush Fees
